It only refers to JonBenet as their daughter, but clearly whoever committed the sexual assault and murder of JonBenet did not do what they did just to kill her or punish the Ramsey’s for not paying up. It reads as over the top and dramatic, but also cold and business-like, how you’d expect the tone of an exchange of money to be written. The ransom note doesn’t read with any sexual or violent tones at all, to me. I guess you could argue that the intruder was a sicko that intended to sexually assault and murder JonBenet and leave her body in the house and wrote the ridiculous ransom note in an effort to throw police off the track of a pedo and have them look for a “foreign faction,” but how could the intruder know that they wouldn’t quickly find the body in the basement and throw the idea of a “foreign faction,” out the window? It doesn’t make sense that after brutally murdering the child you meant to kidnap, you’d leave a ransom note that could potentially lead police to you after the fact. It doesn’t make sense that it was a kidnapping gone wrong because of the brutal aspects of the assault.

It doesn’t make sense that the note was written about kidnapping for ransom and that JonBenet was brutally assaulted and murdered. It doesn’t make sense that the note was written in the house. The ransom note doesn’t make sense for an intruder. You find out that someone has been in your home and taken your daughter, but you don’t go through and search every single room of your house to make sure that they’re really gone and not going to harm you or your remaining family members? You don’t cancel all your travel plans to make sure you’re there for any contact from the kidnappers? You don’t start asking questions or making preparations for the ransom money? The problem is that it doesn’t really make sense, especially as things progress. How do you know your daughter is missing and not just in the basement dead? Because there is a note saying she was taken. The note is an instant reason to not only contact the police, but also to not search the entire house, technically. In all other cases of missing children on this sub, we always hear about parents immediately looking throughout their entire house and property at the very minimum prior to calling the police to report their child missing. If you wake up and find your daughter missing from her bed, what do you do? You search. Without the note, the plausibility of the Ramsey’s not locating JonBenet’s body prior to the police arriving does not make sense. I’ve had this thought as well, and while I agree, it’s ridiculous, is it really any more ridiculous than any other aspect of the case or theory?
